Microsoft’s .NET platform, which Cybercom is implementing in several consulting projects, is one of the dominant development platforms on the market for Rapid Application Development as well as for enterprise solutions. "Demand will skyrocket for .NET skills because using the technology is so cost effective," says Anders Risberg, Key Account Manager at Cybercom.

The result? Less cost: .NET and iCore are inexpensive to implement, compared to earlier technology generations. That way, customers gets systems that communicate with each other and a common database. And Web solutions are linked to databases, which simplifies data entries and analyses that yield new information.

iCore is partly the reason why development is fast and more cost effective. iCore is a broker system that is easily adapted to languages used to build different business systems. With other solutions, each system or application must be adapted to the broker solution - it's just the opposite with iCore.
.NET technology is something that many customers are asking about. Because Cybercom already works with this technology and is extremely competent in this area, Risberg believes that the company can position itself well in this market niche.
"All companies that want to integrate their systems will want to use this technology," says Risberg. "It's also suitable for corporations that want to stimulate trade among their own subsidiaries."
