Cybercom is annualy making a donation to the United Nations Children's Fund, which helps to build a world in which the rights of every child are realised. The Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) is the most widely ratified human rights treaty in history. It sets forth a wide range of provisions that encompass civil rights and freedoms, family environment, basic health and welfare, education, leisure and cultural activities, and special protection measures.
The Convention has several basic principles that underpin all other children's rights. These include: non-discrimination; best interests of the child; right to survival and development; and views of the child.
Aid for tsunami victims
Cybercom contributed to continuing aid for the tsunami victims.
Sri Lanka
Together with private efforts from Cybercom employees and an organisation called Teamwork, Mazarin & friends, Cybercom sent donations to some of the most needy.
Thailand
Cybercom contributes to the Ripples Foundation for the Children of Thailand. There is a specific need to support the children in Thailand, many of whom have been seriously affected by the disaster. This is the Ripples Foundation’s raison d’être.
Cybercom Group – a winning multi-sport team
For 2007, Cybercom decided to support a multi-sport team that competes in the Swedish Multi-sport Cup.
Caroline Jakobsson and Andreas Svanebo form one of the best mixed multi-sport teams in Sweden.
The team won the overall Swedish Multi-sport Cup 2005 (mixed class) after a very successful year.
2007 Andreas Svanebo won the European winter triathlon championships held in Steg, Liechtenstein. Andreas Svanebo was Sweden’s first European winter triathlon champion
The sponsorship reflects the sporting spirit of the Cybercom Group, and many Cybercom employees participate in outdoor endurance sports.
